Catching Flow with Mr Congo

Updated: Nov 18, 2019

In this episode, we chat with the enigmatic storyteller, Cory Porter, aka Mr Congo.

Born and raised in the small town of Tarpon Springs in Florida, Cory is now living and raising his family in Melbourne, Australia. The two places in his heart couldn't be further apart in terms of community, culture and identity.

But this has only enhanced his perspective as we talk race and identity, in and around his two worlds.

Mr Congo shares his philosophies on life and experiences of growing up in the 'hood', with his trademark storyteller flow, poetic flair and therapeutic analysis.

Cory is a man of many talents, he's a father, an artist, a poet, a DJ, a philosopher, a therapist and even an ex-College football player.

Come for the stories, stay for his delivery.
