In this episode we get serious with Sydney comedian Josh Hawkins, known as Hi Josh, who catapulted to fame thanks to a viral video that demonstrated the Australian obsession with abbreviation.
His recent "Bad Lip Reading" videos for Married At First Sight (MAFS), BIP and Bachie recaps has seen his Instagram followers double almost overnight, as he has found himself becoming a pop culture comedy king. Not that the incredibly humble and at times introspective man would use those words himself!
But it's not all laughs and celebrity catch ups for Josh, who recently left his five year position as a Pastor in a church, for full time comedy. Josh has a very strong religious background and often finds himself balancing his boundaries and beliefs with his comedy career objectives, and it's not always as easy as it looks.
We talk about religion, spirituality and his rise to fame as Josh shares some of his personal thoughts about life.
