Updated: Nov 18, 2019

*Content Warning: this episode contains a personal account of childhood sexual abuse, that may be distressing to some listeners*

Dassi Erlich has been leading the charge in an ongoing international battle for justice, that has waged unrelentingly for many years now.

Dassi was a student at The Adass Israel School in Melbourne, when her then Principal Malka Leifer, began grooming and then sexually abusing her. The abuse continued into young adulthood and it wasn't until she was married and living in Israel, that the trauma began to unravel.

This triggered a series of events that lead to Dassi speaking out about the abuse that she and her sisters suffered at the hands of Leifer, leaving behind the insular Adass community to become the public face of this incredibly inspiring story of survival and the fight to #BringLeiferBack.

Dassi shares her incredible story of strength and resilience, courage and adversity, leaving us with a sense of hope for the future.
