Over the years Neale Whitaker has become a household name, gracing our televisions with his elegance, sophistication and impressive eye for style.
Neale is probably best known for his work as a host and designer on Love It Or List It Australia, and for the past decade as a judge on the renovation juggernaut that is The Block.
However Neale's creative career hasn't always been in interiors, nor in fact in publishing where he has spent the best part of his recent working life at the helm of major publications such as Belle magazine, Vogue Living and Delicious.
Neale's journey so far has been filled with passion and intrigue and a healthy dose of adventure along the way.
In this episode, Neale takes us back through his life in the UK following the loss of his father at a young age and into his formative years as a young man in a country emerging from a dark time.
In the 1980's as the UK was discovering its new identity and breaking free from a repressive government, Neale was also on his own path to self-discovery and recounts some of the highs and lows of that time.
Neale shares his story with his trademark wit and charm, answering some of my burning questions about what really goes on with those reno shows.
You can find Neale on Instagram here and be sure to tune in this week to the final episode of season three of Love It Or List It Australia, available to watch or stream on the Lifestyle channel on Foxtel.
